The Black Friday madness is coming to an end and Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Epiphany are just around the corner. Buyers' priorities change.
Until just a few days ago the main goal was to get the maximum discount possible, and now, it's doing the right gifts. So, although usually the purchases are made for oneself, this is the time of year when we think most about what we are going to give to other people.
Purchases that would be unthinkable for oneself, begin to make sense when it comes to giving someone else in the family, a friend or colleague from work.
Products that would not be given away outside of special holidays, begin to make sense. The more original the present and the more potential it has to leave a good memory, the better. If it's a practical gift, even better, but that's no longer a top priority.
Also, it is usually not a good idea to target men by showing them women's dresses, but doing it during these dates and presenting the product as a gift you can give to your partner can be very effective.
Going back to the Me and For Me, we also invite you to do some introspection and remember the last time you wanted to make an emotional purchase, a whim.
Have you ever "caught" yourself waiting for any minimally valid excuse to justify such a purchase, perhaps even wishing to retire early something old to take on something new?
The latter is also magnified by living with family since we not only have to justify our purchases to ourselves but our loved ones. Well, what better time than Christmas for Santa Claus to bring us a gift we have asked for?
Keep these things in mind when working on your creatives and copy these days and see you next week!
