What is the most difficult part of the whole process? Those of you who already do creative endeavors, you know perfectly - the most difficult thing is to start. Once you get started, little by little and with some patience, ideas begin to sprout. In the end, we remember the hardship of getting to start as if it was a distant past, something lived in another life, although only a few minutes have passed.

To combat this effect and the procrastination that usually accompanies it, there is nothing like good daily, weekly, monthly, semiannual, annual or life planning. But hey, if what we have is an Instagram account and a business to promote, doing a weekly or monthly planning is a good place to start. Example of a result after a good planning session:

Some tips to make planning a more focused experience:

  • Think about themes: what do you want to explain to your audience? What do you want to tell them? For what purpose? What do you expect them to think or feel with what you tell them? These are some of the questions that it is good that you know how to answer in this initial step.
  • Think about the best way to convey your idea: you know what you want to convey and now, how to do it? Carousels with photos? Carousels with the video? Choose something and test it.
  • Plan dates: when are you going to put out your content? How often? Instead of improvising every day, make your life easier and think about dates beforehand.
  • Create content in bulk: if it is a photoshoot day, why not take advantage of that and make all the photos that you will need for the entire month's content? You have already done the hardest thing anyway – getting started. Take advantage of the momentum and increase your efficiency with this ’little big’ advice.

Above all, remember that plans are just that, plans, and things don't always go as planned. Therefore, having this clear in advance when planning and leaving room for error in our plan is a good idea.
